WP Mass Installer Review

Okay, better late than never, right? I’ve been meaning to do this review for a while, but just hadn’t had the chance. First I will tell you the good, and then I’ll tell you the bad… :)

The good…

For the $69 price, this is a decent tool. It is very easy to install if you follow the directions. I didn’t have any trouble at all. There is also a great manual that gives you the step-by-steps to using WP Mass Installer, and it truly does install blogs for you on the fly. You can edit them, and do whatever you want to do to them from one easy interface. That to me rocks.

However….

The bottom line is these are SPAM blogs. All you are doing is putting in RSS feeds for the script to pull and place on your blog. Why would you want a bunch of SPAM blogs? To make money? Okay, good reason…

Let’s break this down though…

All of these blogs are created on one domain, so don’t you think when the search engines de-index one, they are just gonna wipe the entire domain? Of course they are. Do you also know that you can loose your Adsense account if your Adsense ads are on these pages? If you said, no, well now you do know, and I advise that you don’t take the “SPAM the search engines” route.

So, I know what you are saying now…

“But Liz, If I create a bunch wont I stay a step ahead of the search engines?”

So, you create your first blog with WP Mass Installer. Say it’s on dog training. You have to set up all the categories, and let’s say you have 10 categories. You will then have to find 10 (more if you want more per category) RSS feeds related to these categories, and input that information in. It took me 15 minutes, to get my first one set up. So say I set up 100 more. That’s 1500 more minutes. They run for two months and then BAM the search engines drop me (if they even index me at all). My income is gone… And you say to me you want to go through that again?

No way!

Bottom line…

If you want to chase your tail and keep building crap SPAM sites, then get WP Mass Installer, it is the perfect tool. If you want to create REAL sites, that stay around forever, that you don’t have to do much to so that makes them virtually on autopilot, subscribe to me free AdsenseGirl.com newsletter and I’ll teach you all about it. :)

I Do Not Recommend WP Mass Installer

    Liz -
Wish I had read your review before I bought this. Luckily I paid a lower price for buying it early. I had set up only one blog on a “information portal” site I’m building for Adsense. Needless to say I noticed that the search engines weren’t crawling this blog. I’ve since turned the RSS feed off and the blog is static right now.
The only advantage I can see to this product is the fact you only have to install Wordpress once to have multiple blogs on a site — which is advantageous on a portal type site.
Anyway you confirmed what I suspected.
    Thanks for your great reviews.

    Hi Liz,
I purchased WPMI right at the start and as soon as I started to play around with this, I saw the flaw. I don’t want to be creating SPAM sites so I wanted to try a different route. I have collections of PLR articles that I have obtained from different memberships, free gifts etc etc
Couple this with articles from article sites, I was hoping to put this on autopilot and have the program run as follows:
Just an example www.petsblogs.com as the main domain and then have a series of blogs created by WPMI related to pets ie.
    www.petsblogs.com/cats
    www.petsblogs.com/dogs
    www.petsblogs.com/hamsters
    www.petsblogs.com/rabbits
and so on and so on…..
Get the articles posted by a plug in and maybe or maybe not have the RSS feeds intermingled with the articles, partly to pad them out but also to create more sources of information for people visiting the blogs?
Would this be a possibility? Is there a plug-in availalbe to feed in articles like I suggest above, to post on certain days (maybe using CRON?) ? And if so, is there one that you would recommend?
Would doing this be best served by putting adsense on which would also be targeted to provide links for visitors to find more information or would it be better to use as affiliate sites and getting other websites indexed?
    Any suggestions would be welcome.
    Regards
    Simon
